Karl Anderson represents Fourth Respondent in London Capital & Finance freezing order dispute

September 22, 2020

The High Court has handed down two judgments as part of ongoing litigation concerning the administration of London Capital & Finance plc. The judgments raise issues in relation to the rules governing worldwide freezing orders. Specifically, the judgments address: (1) the extent to which a worldwide freezing order should be made where a criminal restraint order already prevents a respondent from dealing with their assets; and (2) the extent to which a respondent must raise all their objections to a worldwide freezing order at the first available opportunity.

Karl Anderson was instructed on behalf of the Fourth Respondent. The judgments can be read here and here.
