4 Stone Buildings is delighted to announce that Joseph Wigley, Albert Sampson, Lara Hassell-Hart, Emma Horner, Guy Olliff-Cooper, and Daniel Kessler have been appointed to the Attorney General’s B Panel of counsel. Albert, Lara and Daniel have been promoted from the C Panel to the B Panel, and Joseph, Emma and Guy are new appointments to the Panel.
Their appointment will take effect from 1 September 2025 for a period of five years.
The Attorney General’s panels of counsel consist of junior counsel who undertake civil and EU work for all government departments. All government departments and agencies of those departments are required to use Panel counsel. B Panel members deal with substantial cases on their behalf, generally where knowledge and experience of a particular field is required. Potential appointees to the Panel must formally apply and face significant competition.
Our new B Panel appointees join the following existing Panel members in Chambers: Nicholas Cox and Tiran Nersessian (A Panel); Zara McGlone, Nicholas Wright and Josh O’Neill (C Panel).
